Coming soon… exhibition, random studs and flowers!
Here’s a little update of what to expect in the next few weeks!

I have just completed all firings of the most recent small batch of pieces, and I will now be making the jewellery to include some new random studs (geometric shapes that can be bought individually) and floral pieces to coincide with an exhibition that I’ve been invited to take part in.

Florifferous Fruitiferous!

This artist and makers exhibition is curated by Brigid from Studio Cennen. Brigid asked me back in January if I’d like to be involved and so I have been developing some porcelain floral pieces inspired by my own experience of growing flowers from seed this year.

Here’s what Brigid has to say about this exciting forthcoming exhibition…

Art at the Halls’ 9th exhibition in Cahoots with South Wales Potters

Following a four year hiatus we are planning a spectacular return at Llangathen Temperance Hall this September.

For those in the know, Studio Cennen was born out of the success of Art at the Hall which began in November 2016. The two Art At The Hall exhibitions planned for 2020 had to be shelved and this September feels like the right time to make a comeback at this wonderful Hall, next door to the beautiful Aberglasney Gardens. Titled Floriferous : Fruitiferous this exhibition promises to be an explosion of joy and colour. Our Artists will be joined by 20 of the South Wales Potters, one of the largest groups of professional and hobby potters and ceramicists in the UK.

Tim Bowen Antiques will help us set the scene, Judith of Cegin Dolau Kitchen will be serving bakes and refreshments and Jess of Little Barn Nursery will be in the Garden. We will be introducing many new artists and makers alongside favourite and familiar names.

We kick start the event on Thursday afternoon of the 14th of September, 4 – 8pm with Jin Talog serving their delicious cocktails.

The exhibition will run for 10 days from Friday 15th – Sunday 24th September – 11-6pm.

I look forward to seeing you soon

Brigid ”
